Church Social Groups

We have a wide mix of social groups open to all.

The Bowlng Club

The Bowling Club provides the opportunity for members of the church family to play social bowls together on the green adjacent to the church, between April and September.                                          In addition, we run indoor bowls sessions throughout the winter months. The Badminton Club

The Badminton Club meets for club play on Thursday evenings in Wesley Hall from 7.30 to 10.00 pm between early September and shortly after Easter.  A men's team is entered in the Sutton League and this season will again be in the First Division.  Anyone interested please contact Keith Dennis. Contact: Keith Dennis A more sociable Badminton get together takes place every Thursday morning between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm during term time.  Meet in the Hall.  All welcome.

Ladies Keep Fit

  Ladies Keep Fit meet every Tuesday in Wesley Hall from 9.45 to 11.00 Contact: Margaret Greeenwood

Lunch Club

  The Lunch Club meets on the last Tuesday of the month at  12.30 pm and welcomes retired people who would enjoy sharing a meal in company, especially those living on their own. Contact: Gwen Sadler

Soup and Roll

Soup and Roll is lunch (with Listening Post) meets each Thursday during term time at 12 noon in the Church Centre and provides an opportunity for social chat, especially helpful to those who live alone. Contact Liz Topliss
